Traditions - Annual Spring Open House & Fall Field Day
Two of the Barrie Bruce Golf Schools' oldest and most popular traditions are the "Spring Open
House" which is held in April
and the "Fall Field Day" which occurs in
October. While one serves to begin the golf season, the other is an eventful culmination to the BBGS season. These annual social
events have afforded our students a great deal of fun and camaraderie
over the years.
Spring Open House
Thursday evening, April 12th, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the function
hall at the Billerica Country Club. Any golf school student, past
or present, and their guests are welcome to attend at no cost. The evening features:
- hors d'oeuvres, cash bar
- drawing of golf related items such as private
lessons, school
tuitions, golf
equipment, greens
fees and golf gifts.
- a presentation of the season's programs and a chance for students
to sign up for instruction, leagues,
and tournaments.
New friends are made and old friendships are renewed. An
excellent way to celebrate spring and begin a new season of golf!!
